Kelowna is the largest Okanagan city in central British Columbia. Kelowna is located 250 miles from Vancouver and 90 miles north of the US border. Easy access by Kelowna International airport or road travel.

Situated on the east shore of Okanagan lake, between Vernon and Penticton. Okanagan lake is approx 70 miles in length. Okanagan lake attracts the boating enthusiasts for water skiing, fishing or just cruising.
Nearby Big White is renowned for deep powder skiing within a one hour drive of Kelowna. Also hiking on the Trans Canada trail or fishing in a secluded mountain lake.
Industries are the Okanagan wine, forestry, Manufacturing, Software development and the Orchards.
Kelowna Rockets, winners of the 2004 Memorial cup, play in the 6000 seat Prospera Place multi-purpose facility. A new Rotary of the arts centre has been opened, and numerous water front park are available to public. Kelowna water front walk, along with the Mission creek greenaway park are world renowned for the leisure walkers or the competitive athletes. Numerous sport events such as Ski to Sea race, dragon boat racing, Kelowna triathlon , hockey, figure skating, and the golfing events etc. are held annually.
Kelowna and Central Okanagan population is approx 250,000. Average July and Aug. day temperature is 27.4 C. Kelowna receives over 2000 hours of sunshine annually with just over 11 inches of rain. Kelowna area is 101 square miles and is at 1129 foot above sea level elevation the Okanagan lake bridge is a 7/8 of a mile floating bridge.
Kelowna Hospital provide a full cancer treatment clinic, Okanagan University two campuses provide university and transfer programs along with trades programs.
